是否符合申請身份？Am I eligible for applying International Bachelor Degree Program(IBP)?
IBP accepts applications from both International Students and Overseas Chinese Students, but the application pathways are different.

語言能力相關證書／ Language Certificates
主修 / Majors 必繳證明 / Required Documents 選繳證明 / Optional Documents 華語與專業學科 / International Chinese Language with Multiple Disciplines 華語能力證明 (Chinese-language certificate)：
→華語語文能力測驗 TOCFL A2 或以上，或同等級能力證明(如：HSK 4)

2.商業管理/Business Management

IBP 入學申請時程為何？What are the application timeline and admission process for the IBP?
Only Fall intake is available for the IBP program.
IBP 只開放秋季班入學申請。
受理申請時段(Application Periods):→通常為當年度10月至隔年4月
Usually begin from October to April
放榜 (Admission Decisions):
→為配合各國學制與畢業時程，本班將設有三次放榜
To accommodate with different international education systems and graduation schedules, IBP will announce admissions results in 3 rounds

所有組別都是全英授課嗎? Are IBP programs taught in English?
只有 乙組（電機資訊科技、商業管理、工程技術）為全英語授課。
All courses offered to IBP Group B students (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering Technology) are conducted entirely in English.
甲組注重華語學習，因此課程上有許多華語相關課程。
Since Group A (International Chinese Language with Multiple Disciplines) focuses on the Chinese language, there will be several Chinese courses and taught in Chinese as well.
若希望增強華語能力，學生也可以選修清大開設的其他課程（例如通識課或語言課程），授課語言通常會在課程資訊中註明。
If you wish to improve your Chinese proficiency, you are welcome to take other NTHU courses outside of the IBP program. The language of instruction is usually indicated in the course description.

如何申請獎學金？How to apply for scholarships?
獎學金來源：清華大學（校內獎學金）、政府機構或私人機構
Scholarship Sources: NTHU, Government Institutions or Private Organizations
[國際學生 / International Students]
All international students are eligible to apply for "NTHU International Students Scholarships" during the application process.
Scholarships are awarded based on a comprehensive evaluation by the review committee, including required application materials and interview performance.
Undergraduate students must apply for the scholarship each academic year, and each award is valid for one year.
所有國際學生皆可在報名時選擇申請[清華大學國際學生獎學金]，屆時會由審核委員們以書面審核資料、面試表現等等綜合考慮評估，核發獎學金。
大學部須每學年重新申請獎學金，且每次獎學金效期為一年。
[僑生 / Overseas Chinese students]
僑生請依清大全球事務處相關規定申請。

學雜費是多少？How much for the tuition and miscellanous fees?
國立清華大學之學雜費為每學期計算，並依照學生身份別及所屬學院而定。
Tuition and miscellaneous fees at National Tsing Hua University are charged on a per-semester basis and vary depending on the student status and affiliated college.
IBP 學生於第二年分流後，將依其所屬學院的標準繳交學雜費。

【On-campus Housing 校內住宿】
Please make sure to read the “Dorm Rules for NTHU” carefully.
請務必詳閱《國立清華大學學生宿舍規則》，以確保遵守相關規範。[ Priority Housing Eligibility / 優先住宿資格 ]
→Foreign freshmen and undergraduate freshmen are eligible for priority housing qualification.
If there are not enough beds for second-year undergraduate students and current graduate students, they shall be arranged randomly by computer drawing.→境外新生、大學部一年級新生具優先保障住宿資格。
大學部二年級學生、研究所舊生，床位不足時依電腦亂數抽籤安排。
[ Application / 申請 ]
→On-campus housing is not mandatory—students may decide whether or not to apply.Students eligible for priority housing qualification shall complete the online dormitory application process according to the schedule announced by the Division of Student Housing.
Those who do not complete the online application process will be deemed to have given up their priority housing qualification.→校內住宿並非強制性，學生可自行決定是否申請。
獲優先保障住宿資格者仍需上網完成申請宿舍手續，未完成上網登記手續者，視同放棄優先住宿資格。

Applications for dormitory accommodation are based on each academic year and arranged according to the NTHU academic calendar. The actual accommodation schedule will be determined by the Division of Student Housing.申請宿舍以一學年為原則，依本校行事曆安排，實際住宿時程以住宿組公告為準。

Fees are charged according to the dormitory and room type. One-semester accommodation fee is for 5 months, and it will be charged with the Tuition Bill for each semester.

是否接受轉學申請？Does IBP accept TRANSFER applications?
Currently, we does NOT take transfer students.
You may see if you are eligible to re-apply in Taiwan according to the "Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan" Article 4, paragraph 2: "If an international student applied to come to Taiwan to undertake a bachelor's degree or lower level program in Taiwan and after coming to Taiwan stayed for less than one year for some reason then discontinued their studies or forfeited their student status, that student may lodge another application to come to Taiwan to study, but only one such re-application is permitted."
我們目前不接受轉學申請。
若要重新申請入學，請參考「外國學生來臺就學辦法」第4條之二：外國學生申請來臺就讀學士班以下學程，在國內停留未滿一年，因故退學或喪失學籍，得重新申請來臺就學，並以一次為限。

IBP有碩士班嗎? Is there an “International Master Degree program” as well?
目前沒有，
但清華大學也為外籍生及僑生提供了非常完整的碩士班課程。

Currently, there is no "International Master degree Program."
However, many graduate institutes in NTHU provide master’s degree programs open to international and overseas Chinese students.

雖然每年行事曆略有不同，但一般秋季學期會在 8月底到9月初 開始，宿舍報到與新生訓練通常安排在開學前一週。

→每年7月下旬，新生透過Email收到註冊須知，其中列有報到、健康檢查、選課與學期開始等詳細資訊。

[國際學生]為什麼及如何驗證高中畢業證書及成績單？[International Student]Why and how do I notarize my high school diploma and transcripts?
For International Student:
According to the "Regulations Regarding the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Academic Credentials for Institutions of Higher Education" issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE),
diplomas and transcripts issued outside of Taiwan must be authenticated by a Taiwan Embassy or Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the country where the degree was obtained.依據「大學辦理國外學歷採認辦法」，持國外學校學位證書、成績證明等證件，必須經由畢業學校所在地之台灣駐外館處（大使館或駐外經濟文化辦事處）驗證。
We advise you to contact the Taiwan Embassy or TECO in your country to confirm the required application procedures and processing times.
建議您主動聯繫所在國的台灣駐外館處（大使館或經濟文化辦事處），確認申請流程及所需處理時間。
The authenticated documents must include a Document Legalization Certificate issued by TECO, along with a Document Legalization Number.驗證後的文件需附有我駐外館處所核發之文件證明書，並取得對應的證明書編號。
