國立清華大學 國際學士班 National Tsing Hua University International Bachelor Degree Prgram
本班招收外國學生及僑生，四年學制，授予學士學位。
本班提供多樣化的學習路徑，培養具有華語能力及國際競爭力的專業人才，分為以下兩組：
◎清華學院國際學士班甲組（華語與專業學科）◎
本班招收母語非華語之外國學生及僑生，四年學制，授予文學士或理學士。
本班提供多樣化的學習路徑，培養具有華語能力及國際競爭力的專業人才。
一、二年級課程為專業華語課，以強化國際學生華語聽、說、讀、寫的能力。
學生在一、二年級培養華語能力並充分自我探索，確定個人興趣後，三、四年級則可有三種學習途徑。
The 4-year Bachelor’s program is designed for international students and overseas Chinese students. This curriculum offers a variegated route of study, so as to help develop students’ proficiency in Chinese and their competitive abilities in professional encounters in international societies. This curriculum is divided into two groups of courses.
◎Group A: International Chinese language with multiple disciplines◎
This curriculum is designed to be a 4-year program for international students and overseas Chinese students who are not native speakers of Chinese. Students who finish the program will be granted the degree of “Bachelor of Arts” or the degree of “Bachelor of Science.” This curriculum offers a variegated route of study, so as to help develop students’ proficiency in Chinese and their competitive abilities in professional encounters in international societies.
The curriculum in the first and second years focuses on professional Chinese language. Students admitted will be placed in different class groups according to their Chinese language proficiency.
In the third and fourth years, the curriculum is more flexibly designed so as to help students develop their needs and interests to coordinate, in their 3rd-4th curriculum years, with three profession priorities.
乙組 英語學程
本班招收外國學生及僑生，四年學制，授予學士學位。
本班提供多樣化的學習路徑，培養具有華語能力及國際競爭力的專業人才，
分為以下兩組：
◎清華學院國際學士班乙組（全英文授課 – 注重電腦資訊與商業管理）◎
本組為全英語授課，招收外國學生及僑生，授予理學士或文學士學位。學生可選擇「電腦資訊」或「商業管理」類專業課程（未來將規劃更多英語專業課程供選擇），學生在大一起開始修習英語通識課程及專業課程，並期望所有學生在大三能赴其他國家的大學擔任交換學生，為期一個學期或一年。
此外，學生必須修習基礎華語及文化課程，以強化學生跨文化能力並提升未來在華語地區就業的機會。
The 4-year Bachelor’s program is designed for international students and overseas Chinese students. This curriculum offers a variegated route of study, so as to help develop students’ proficiency in Chinese and their competitive abilities in professional encounters in international societies. This curriculum is divided into two groups of courses.
◎ Group B: Courses all in English with emphases in “Computer Science” & “Business Management”◎
The 4-year Bachelor’s program is designed for international students and overseas Chinese students, with all courses taught in English. Students can choose courses with emphases in “Computer Science” or “Business Management” (courses in other areas will be offered in the future) and BS or BA degree will be offered accordingly.
Students will begin to take General Education courses and courses related to the major field they choose in their freshmen year. In the junior year, all students are expected to be exchange students in other countries enrolled in our university for one semester or one year.
In addition, fundamental Chinese language and culture courses will be offered according to students’ interest in order to strengthen their cross-cultural competence and enhance the prospects for obtaining employment in Chinese-speaking regions.
